Sharie Derrickson, Owner
Sharie is a former U.S. Navy Combat Camera Photojournalist and also worked at Stars and Stripes newspaper as a writer, photojournalist, and senior editor. She traveled extensively during her military career, including to Operation Restore Hope in Somalia, and to areas of conflict during the First Gulf War.
After leaving the military, Sharie has written for many newspapers and publications, including freelance articles for the Sun Coast Media Group, and has contributed to National Geographic's Destinations Survey. She has written political speeches for many candidates and has helped several doctoral candidates do research for their dissertations. She has received several awards in writing from the New York Press Association, and has written one book entitled, "No Bad Deed Goes Unpublished."
She is a graduate of the U.S. Defense Information School's Journalism and Photojournalism programs. She has a BA in Education from Ottawa University, and is also a Charlotte High graduate. Lynn Kirsch is an Associate Writer and co-founder of The Write Resource who specializes in grant writing, technical writing, including medical technology, and product development research. She has helped several large and small corporations compete in the marketplace by helping them find funds, writing technical articles, and researching new products so they can stay competitive.
Lynn is a believer in contributing her talents to help make the world a better place and has also assisted not-for-profit organizations find needed sources of funding so they could continue their mission of making a positive impact. One of the most rewarding portions of her job, she says, is being part of the philanthropic spirit and enjoys bringing businesses who want to donate, to those not-for-profit organizations in need.
Lynn also has used her adept research skills assisting several doctoral candidates do research for their dissertations, and has used her editing skills to help them present material in the most professional manner.
She is a member of the American Association of Grant Professionals and The American Society for Training and Development.
